Math is everywhere! This magazine subscription will help connect the concepts we are learning in math to other subjects and interest areas. Areas such as social studies, history, science, sports, pop culture, and art are included in each magazine so there will be something of interest to each student. The fun and engaging articles help students develop both math and literacy skills. Each article applies math concepts to a topic of high-interest to students and features practice problems to build math confidence. Research shows that students need more practice with nonfiction text and problem-solving in order to be better prepared for life beyond the classroom. The subscription also includes technology integration to further build interest and excitement for students. The magazines are designed for students in grades 6-9 so differentiation is automatically embedded.
