I have 11 special needs students in my class who range in age from 9-18 years of age. My kids require such intense medical assistance that they are unable to leave their group home. Last year, my school started a new partnership with their residential setting to bring our school to their home. Over the course of this last year, we have seen such wonderful gains in our students' growth. For example, many of our students can attend a full day of school now rather than just a few hours. Others are communicating by looking a picture symbols or activating voice output devices for the first time independently. We are so proud of our students success and can only imagine what they will do tomorrow.
