My school is located in an area of high poverty. All of my students qualify for free meals and come from bilingual homes. It is mandated that they wear uniforms to school. Despite all this, they are happy kids and full of energy. They are excited to attend school and to socialize with their classmates. Their skills are low, as are their attention spans, but they are anxious to learn.
