Effective remote speech therapy needs to be EXTRA motivating to keep the students' attention. The Osmo base will allow me to reinforce my students' communication skills with lots of real-time visual supports. I also plan to support fellow educators/SLPs on Teachers Pay Teachers by purchasing engaging and research-based activities to target my students' goals. These tools will allow me use technology to help my students access their favorite activities (such as interactive books, Mr. Potato Head, hide-n-seek/lift-the-flap games) while projected in real time over Google Meet. Especially for my youngest students, I want them to have a sense of routine by using familiar items from last year to help them retain and expand upon their language skills.
