My school is in a high poverty area where the children all qualify for free breakfast and lunch as well as dinner for after school care. My students are energetic children who enjoy coming to the classroom. They always arrive excited for the day and ready to learn new and challenging information The students are active learners who need the ability to apply their knowledge in a variety of ways. They take pride in their accomplishments and like to have their work admired and praised by other teachers and family members.
