My 2nd Grade class loves to see things come to life! The incubator will give them a chance to learn what kind of eggs are good for incubating and separate them accordingly. My students will then collect data from taking turns checking the hygrometer for humidity and the thermometer for the temperature of the eggs during the incubation. This process will help give the students a deeper understanding of the life cycle and be able to discuss how and why each work together to nurture the developing of the chick. They will collect data in their Science notebooks about the change of the baby chick.
