Nathaniel Alexander Elementary is a Title 1 school for students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Because of our Title 1 status, all students are eligible to receive free or reduced priced lunch. My students come into my room eager to learn whatever I put in front of them. They are mostly African-American or Hispanic, and come from diverse backgrounds and neighborhoods.
