My school is a wonderful school full of students eager to learn. I teach in a fully-funded Title I school due to our percentage of students who receive full or reduced meals. One thing that makes my school so special is that it is filled with genuine teachers and staff that care about all the students there. We truly are a family invested in the well-being and learning of all of our students. Some of my students come in every day needing a lot more than just someone to teach them. A good percentage of them come from single parent homes or live with other family members instead of either of their parents. They thrive in a structured classroom with experiences that they do not get at home. They are lovable children eager to learn and experience new things. They get excited by anything new in the classroom or any new experience we have outside of the school.
