Since my students lack independent reading books and they don't have access to fun reading and math activities. The materials I put on the list will help my students engage in their learning in an exciting way. My students will be able to reinforce what they learn in reading and math by engaging in fun reading and math activities. My first graders love puzzles so the sight word puzzles will be great in the sight word center. The "I Want My Hat Book" is a book that lots of my students like to read, so I figured another copy would be beneficial in giving students motivation to read. In addition, the math folder games will be wonderful for math center time.
