My students are very talented individuals. They all have a special unique quality about themselves. They are quirky, silly and loving. Their disability does not stop them from having phenomenal skill sets. Sometimes I feel that I learn more from them than they do from me. I know they are capable of being successful individuals post high school. My school is just as unique as the students. It is set up to work with students on a one-to-one or small group basis. It gives my population of students the proper environment and tools they need to help them grow as independent individuals of their communities.
