Hello! I am Mrs. Sherwood, a second grade ELL classroom teacher in Lowell, MA. I have been teaching for 9 years, and my career is my passion. I work at the McAvinnue Elementary, an inner city school that consists of mainly English Language Learners. All of the children receive free breakfast and lunch. Many children in our school unfortunately come from homes that are unstable. I feel like school is a place where I can provide a fun and respectful learning environment, a safe place where all students are welcome.
