We are an inner-city school with 100% free and reduced-price lunch. Our students come from very diverse neighborhoods with high poverty. Activity is not always a high priority for our kids when they go home. We are trying offer a PE program that shows our students that activity can be done anywhere, without expensive gym memberships or organized teams. Our students are amazing and excited to learn new skills and strategies that will make them more successful/healthy adults.
