My students come from diverse backgrounds and all different walks of life. These students, who would otherwise never would have never interacted with each other, have found friends and a home on the stage. The school that I teach at is primarily made up of students who come from lower income families and tend to not get the same opportunities for exposure to the theater as many other students around the nation tend to get.
