My students may all look the same because of the uniforms they wear, but they are very diverse. I have many different personalities and perspectives, and my students excel and struggle in various areas. The differences between the sixth and seventh graders alone are immeasurable. My school is located in an inner city church, although it hardly feels any different from a "normal" school. Many of my students are religious, thus contributing to my varied perspective on social issues and behaviors. However, the commonality of my students is the respect they show me and their genuine desire to learn and succeed.
