I am a teacher of fifteen exceptional Kindergarten students in a public school in Winchester, Virginia. 75% of of my students receive free or reduced school meals. Many of these students also participate in a program to take home snacks for the weekend and holiday breaks. Our school is located in a high poverty area where many students live with other families and frequently move from home to home.
