Do you remember first being introduced to musical instruments in elementary school? Today, most kids don't! I enjoy a unique opportunity to educate and watch my students grow during their 4th and 5th grade years at our high needs inner-city school. For the past few years, my classes have been composed primarily of students identified as gifted and talented, regardless of the fact that they live in a lower SES neighborhood, and most are English Language Learners. They are bright, capable, impress me every day, and deserve the best of this world — including music.

About my class
