My classroom consists of eight elementary students at a low-income Colorado school. Our school is an international studies school, that focuses on building globally competent learners, regardless of age or disability! All of my students are labeled as having severe disabilities, including Autism, intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, and speech and language disabilities. However, don't let the labels fool you, my students are vibrant, intelligent and love to learn! Their favorite activities include dancing, painting, playing with our classroom service dog, and of course, reading!
