The new book series will encourage students to cheer on the characters they have made a connection with in the first book. They will be able to continue to experience the changes with characters through each book. Many times they state, "I wonder what happens to the main character after this book." The series can answer some of those questions. The graphic novels will allow some of the readers who struggle the opportunity to read the same books as their peers. They will be able to make inferences on what they are seeing in the graphics and connect it to the dialogue the characters are having with each other.
