I want children to be proficient with addition and subtraction. In doing so, they should be able to visualize the numbers by taking an abstract idea and making it concrete. I want this to be fun so that children can see themselves as successful learners. When dealing with math problems, the reckenrecks will provide additional hands-on support for all students in the classroom to be successful. It provides a visual component and hands-on opportunities that helps students lacking that one-on-one correspondence skill. With your support, we can provide this much needed tool for this very important skill that the students will need to be successful in mathematics.

About my class
