We come from a small public school in a low income area. Although our school could use many improvements, the small size, supportive staff, and wonderful students make it an ideal place to learn and grow. Despite their hardships, my students are thirsty for knowledge and are determined to succeed. I want to foster these needs by making school accessible, interesting and exciting for them. I believe the motivation of wanting to have the ability to read a high-interest book will help them gain confidence in their reading ability, which is necessary for improvement.

About my class
