I teach 23 wonderful Kindergarteners at a K-6 Title 1 school. Our school is low income, with a majority of our students eating free or reduced breakfast and lunch. Many of our kids take home "backpacks" of food home over the weekend, holidays, and breaks. A portion of our students live in foster care, or are homeless. Many of our families are struggling to provide for their families and struggle to provide hands on, exciting learning environments at home.

About my class
