I teach 7th through 12th grade. Our school is small, about 350 students in K-12. My students are wonderful; they are eager to learn. We are a small school, I am able to know the students well enough to use their interests to help them understand. I have students with attention disabilities, learning disabilities, students who are hard working and hate sitting still, and students who are content to sit and get to work. I have the complete spectrum of learners. We have ELL students who are learning the English language, foreign exchange students who give us insight to other cultures. I teach them all with pride and compassion. Our small town rural school is the true meaning of the phrase, "where everybody knows your name."
