Pioneer Elementary is an amazing place to learn. Students come to school every day knowing they are safe, cared for, and their teachers are going to support them in their learning journey. Life isn't always easy, and many of our students know this first hand. However, the challenges of outside life don't interfere with their success in school. Regardless of the fact that Pioneer Elementary is 84% free and reduced lunch and 42% ELL, our students consistently achieve high levels of success. I truly admire their determination, focus, and attitude. My students have recently been experimenting with different devices and with this new form of leaning are some unexpected hurdles. My students are so excited about learning on iPads that sometimes focus can be an issue. My goal is to completely personalize the learning experience for every child and give them best materials in the world to learn. This includes interactive websites, presentations, news articles, videos, math tutorials, etc.
