These basic art supplies will give my students the opportunity to participate in art lessons. We are in a distance learning situation due to COVID, and since students are learning from home, many homes do not have these basic art supplies. As some students are struggling socially or emotionally with not being in a school setting, these art supplies will allow them to participate in our art lessons, which research shows helps their social and emotional needs during this pandemic. Since many students have stress or anxiety about their families and their situation, art gives them a way to relax.

About my class
