As a kindergarten teacher, my students come to me with a wide range of abilities. I have children who do not know their letters, to children reading at a 3rd grade level. I work hard to create a fun learning atmosphere in which to learn and grow, and I am passionate about student achievement, as well as finding innovative ways to teach the curriculum to engage learners. I enjoy incorporating multi-sensory learning activities in my classroom, and students often are seen working as a group or with a partner. Pencil/paper activities are balanced with game or center-based activities, as well as kinesthetic and brain-based learning.
