I work at a charter school in Avondale, Arizona. This year we are going from four 4th grade teachers to three. My class size is increasing by about 8 students so I'll have around 30 students in my tiny classroom. In order to best meet all of my students needs, I will be doing guided math and reading blocks, as opposed to whole group instruction. I'm hoping to see some amazing collaboration and thinking going on with my kiddos. The students at my school continue to surprise me every year and I can't wait to see what happens with this upcoming school year!
