My students are an energetic group of fourth graders who are anxious to do their best. They come from a low socioeconomic background, but they have a very strong desire to learn. My classroom is filled with interactive learning with never a dull moment. They work both independently and cooperatively to fully engage in the learning process. At our school our fourth graders transition between three teachers enabling me to instruct all seventy-eight students in social studies. This allows me not only to teach one subject but to teach across the curriculum.

About my class
