Special Education Preschools students need to be actively engaged in hands-on, sensory based learning activities in order to encourage participation and increase learning. We are looking to add a light table and manipulatives to enrich our classroom learning environment through hands-on experience that engages all senses. We will be using the light table to teach and enforce skills in the areas of preschool academics such as shapes, colors, letters, numbers, counting, comparing, sorting, and fine motor skill development. Providing sensory based learning activities for special little learners is best practice and backed by years of research. Please help us to enrich the learning experience for our youngest student population.
