My school is a Title 1 School, where 80% of my students are socio-economically disadvantaged. My students are hard working kids in 1st through 5th grade. They respond so well to music as an outlet to express themselves creatively. The school they attend tries very hard to give them a safe haven where they can flourish and grow and the arts is a special place for them to do this.
