I love my school with all my heart although this has been one of the most challenging years of my life. We have now switched our school from traditional style learning into a Personalized Learning school where students will use technology to guide their learning allowing them to all be on various levels. If a student wants to get ahead, they can simply take an assessment to show mastery of the current classroom standard and then move ahead despite the rest of the class still being on the same standard. One of the problems is that we have a HUGE lack of resources! With the iPads my students will be able to access Edgenuity, USA Test Prep, etc. (online learning resources) that we use regularly in the classroom. Also, the majority of our students do not have their own home printer and we only have 3 printers in the entire school for us to print, with a classroom printer my students will now have instant access to print their assignments.
