My second graders are in a Title I elementary school. They are a diverse group of students who share and work wonderfully together. However, their reading skills vary and we require books written at many different reading levels. My students have a huge thirst for knowledge, and we all share great pride in their work. They learn best when they have reading materials that are both of high interest to them and appropriate to their skill level.
