We have 20, boisterous, fun-loving, and creative students in our class. The amazing part about these students is that they TRULY care about each other and make sure everyone in the class is successful in accomplishing whatever the task at hand might be at a given time. We practice Responsive Classroom, and in our room, we definitely have a caring classroom community where awesome happens everyday. Our school is located in a lower demographic area of the state, and many students are not fortunate enough to have all of their basic needs met on a given day. Considering the challenges that many of the students face, my hope is that the more they see that outsiders care about their future, the more inspired they will be to constantly strive for greatness and consistently put forth their best effort.
