In our school, about 89% of the students participate in the free and reduced lunch program. This means that most of our students live in impoverished homes where their opportunities for exposure to technology use are limited. Despite their difficulties, our students work hard and want to learn. Opportunities to use new technology help motivate them and give them a chance to catch up with their more affluent peers. We serve students in grades K-5 and our staff provides a calm, safe, loving environment for them.
