My students are a diverse bunch with a large population of students who come from a Spanish speaking home. Most of these students have parents who speak no English so their learning ends when the school bell rings at the end of the day. Their parents want to help with assignments and homework but are unable to due to the language barrier. We are a low income high free and reduced lunch school with a large Spanish speaking population.
