The 5th grade class at our school consists of 55 students. I see those students daily for math and social studies. We are an extremely tight-knit community and I work with an exceptional team of staff. In our district, about 75% of students qualify for free or reduced lunches. Every school year brings on a variety of students, and this year is no different. These students are ready to learn and excited about what is ahead of them. This year I have an extremely active class. They love to play football, basketball, and other games together as a class. They enjoy working around the room on projects and they are a great group of kids. I can't wait to see what they can accomplish this year!
