I have a Kindergarten class that is currently comprised of 24 students: 12 girls and 12 boys. The students range from five to 6 years old. Many of my students speak another language other than English at home. I work at a very diverse school and my students come from many different cultures and backgrounds. I've taught second grade the last two years and this is year will be my first year teaching kindergarten, so my supporting materials are still pretty low. I am still building up my library as well as other resources that support our curriculum. My students are on all different levels in reading, writing, and math. I have students that are on the high end of the scale and students that are on the low end, as well as students with special needs. It would be wonderful to have some resources to to meet the needs of all students.
