My students are AMAZING. They love technology and have a "no fear" approach to learning. My class and school are about as diverse as you will find from children living at the local homeless shelter to children from middle and upper-middle class families. I want each and everyone of them to get a head start on the basics of computer use and how to safely and effectively use computers to explore the world. People do not give kindergartners enough credit for what they can achieve. This computer will open up a whole new world to them and greatly even the playing field for those with no previous technology experience. In addition, it will help those with experience hone their typing and mouse skills which will benefit them for a lifetime. They will begin future grade levels ahead of the game.
