My students are the light of my world! I strive to show them attention and love every day. A number of students come from tough home situations. For many, school is the only steady thing in their lives. These kids have been through more hardship than I could ever imagine. It amazes me that they come to school smiling every single day despite the things that occur at home. These children have taught me patience, love, compassion, and have given me a heart for the broken. The least that I can do for them is provide them with the highest quality education that I can possibly give. Our school is in a transition period where we are expanding the amount of technology usage throughout the school day. This is a very special privilege for the children because a lot of them can only experience this at school. Because our school has such a low socioeconomic status, many kids do not have the capability to use technology outside of the school day. My students are beyond deserving of this gift!
