Collaboration is a skill students are going to use their entire lives. We use collaboration daily. Wearing masks in the classroom makes it hard to hear students, especially ones that are soft spoken. A Q-ball microphone will allow everyone in the classroom hear what is being said. Students often become frustrated when they are trying to share information, and can't be heard. A favorite part of the day is Number Talks, where students are able to solve math problems in multiple ways and then share their strategies with the rest of the class. Hearing different strategies helps students expand their thinking. Students will be able to hold the microphone ball as they share their thinking. Everyone will be able to hear what is being shared.
