Students learn best when they have some control over their environment. Now that we’re going back to school I feel the kids need flexible seating now more than ever. They’re not used to sitting at a desk all day while staying attentive. Flexible seating has been shown to elevate students' engagement, Improve their grades and students generally seem happier being able to choose alternative seating. When students are uncomfortable they are distracted and unproductive. Having flexible stools in the classroom, students will be able to keep their bodies moving and their brains focused on the teacher.
