This project will help my students better understand the transfer of energy though a hands-on experience. My students love to explore and be detectives, and I know they would love and appreciate this lab! During this lab investigation students will dissect the owl pellets to discover where owls get their energy from. They will create food webs and diagram the transfer of energy. By getting this kit, each student would get to dissect an owl pellet with a partner rather than just watch the dissection as a demonstration. It is often hard to allocate enough funds for dissection materials for an entire grade. Please help me give my students this exciting learning experience that they remember for years to come!
