My students are 18-26 year old students who are moderately cognitive impaired. They come to the school to learn basic survival skills that will enhance their lives. They learn skills that we take for granted, like how to get along with each other or how to use a time card. The students are very loving and eager to learn. In the Flower's and More shop, we make floral arrangements and numerous art and craft projects for each holiday. The students also learn how to use the cash register, fill out receipts, customer service, complete job applications to name a few. We try to make the Flower's and More Shop resemble as much as possible an actual shop, because Special Education student learn from real life experiences.
