I feel that through this pandemic my students have had less opportunity to improve and build their problem solving and peer interaction skills. They have had less opportunities to work in small groups and engage in active play. My students need more opportunities to practice and improve their social / emotional skills. Through active play centers they will have opportunities to problem solve, practice verbal and listening skills, share, tell stories and take turns. My students will have a safe, teacher modeled and monitored environment to help them to practice their communication skills. I will encourage them to problem solve, and build their community of learners.
