My students are from families of lower socioeconomic status. However, they are excited about learning and inquisitive about education, in and out of the classroom!! Unfortunately, they have been told, repeatedly, that the end of high school should be their end goal and their highest achievement. I am lucky and fortunate to have students that are resilient and encouraged to excel in their academics and future careers. Though education has not been something that has been a focal point in their daily lives, at school, my students are eager to learn and receive a slew of information and resources.
