I am requesting for a leveled library set and book bins for my classroom. I am excited to see the amazing growth in literacy this year that I know each and every one of them is capable of. However- we need more books! Many of the books that I have are older books, and falling apart at the seams. I want to keep my students engaged and excited about reading. I want them to be able to interact with different and more difficult titles. This year, they are ready and able to participate in more independent reading time. Access to these titles in a clear and organized classroom library will help them do this. I cannot wait to see my students eyes light up a the sight of brand new titles at their individual reading level show up in our classroom library. I want to keep the excitement of reading alive in my second grade classroom. Please help bring new and grade level-appropriate titles to our classroom!
