These magazines will allow my students to connect science concepts with real world current experiences. They will be able to visually see how science is all around them. This will also help them answer the question many students ask, “Why am I learning this? When will I ever use this information?” Students will be able to take the magazines home with them and share their knowledge with their families. These magazines will also give their eyes a break from the strain of a computer screen. Using these magazines both in and out of the classroom will give students ownership over their learning.
