Our School District has become one of the many across the nation facing financial problems. We are a large inner city school located in a high crime area of the city. Many of our students are from very low income families and 99% of our students receive free lunch. They come to us with very little knowledge of the world. They lack rich experiences that allow them to read and write successfully. Our Public School is one place for the students to feel safe and loved. I'm asking for a fun reading program to help bridge the gap for my students. Thank you for your support of my students, it will make a difference in their lives. PLEASE HELP SUPPORT THE DIFFERNECE.
