Our school is a Title I school with a transient population because of the Naval Base that is nearby. We have parents that are deployed regularly so households go from two parents to one. Many of our families don't have their own families nearby. They rely on us as a school. Because we are a Title I school, our students don't always have access to resources they need to enhance learning. We are constantly finding new ways to engage our students and keep them active in the learning process. We also explore ways to keep our parents active in the learning process also. We do our best to work as a team to do what is best for our students.
