My students are very economically diverse. We are a economically disadvantaged campus. The majority of our students are on free lunch and can not even afford basic school supplies, let alone afford technology such as computers, cell phones, or tablets. They are an amazing group of students who despite their families economic challenges, show up everyday ready to be challenged and to try to become better than they were the day before. Our school is a bring your own device campus. Meaning that students are allowed to bring their own technology to school for research. Our campus has limited resources for computers and technology, so we really rely on our students bringing their own devices. Since many can not afford these devices, many of our students do not have the resources to complete assignments Ondine or to do proper research for projects. The materials I am requesting are 10 tablets (one for each group), a charging station for them, and a Ipad for teacher demonstration.
