Having a projector in our classroom will make our day to day experience more aligned to 21st century standards. Having a projector will allow increase engagement and allow students to collaborate more effectively. Vocabulary words, math concepts and collaborative reading become alive when the entire class can participate. A projector will would allow the inclusion of visuals that can really aid in conceptualizing topics and concepts that we are learning and discussing. Special education classrooms are held to the same standards as any other class in our building. Having a projector will level the playing field and allow our instruction to be vibrant, engaging and meaningful as any regular education setting.
